Entertainment, Sports & Intellectual Property Attorney

Hayward Gordon Jr. is a founder of the firm and an attorney whose practice focuses on entertainment, sports, and intellectual property law. His work centers on helping creators, athletes, and entrepreneurs protect and monetize their ideas, brands, and creative works while navigating the complex legal landscape of the modern entertainment industry.

Hayward brings a unique combination of legal training, military leadership, and cultural insight to his practice. A former United States Marine, he developed a foundation of discipline, strategic thinking, and service that continues to shape his approach to the law. After completing his military service, he pursued a career in law with a focus on advocacy, intellectual property, and the protection of creative rights.

Hayward is licensed to practice law in Texas. He is also preparing for admission to additional jurisdictions as his practice expands to serve clients across the country. In addition to his practice, he has pursued advanced study in entertainment and media law and continues to develop expertise in areas including copyright, trademark, licensing, NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness), and creative rights management.

Before founding the firm, Hayward worked in litigation practice, where he developed experience in complex legal disputes, strategy, and client advocacy. That experience now informs his approach to representing artists, athletes, and businesses — ensuring that contracts are structured correctly, intellectual property is protected, and disputes are addressed before they become costly problems.

Beyond his legal practice, Hayward is deeply committed to supporting creators and underrepresented communities in the entertainment industry. His work and scholarship often explore the intersection of intellectual property law and cultural expression.

    The Mission

At the firm, Hayward's mission is simple: to provide sophisticated legal representation to creators, athletes, and entrepreneurs while helping them build lasting ownership over their work, brands, and careers.
